Cherry Blossoms RULES & REGULATIONS
All games in the Cherry Blossom Festival will be played using FIFA rules, as modified for normal MSI Classic League play. All games will be 50 minutes in length, with two 25 minutes halves. Half-time will be no more than 5 minutes.
The team listed as the ‘Home’ team should provide a match ball and will change jerseys in case of a color conflict with the opposition. All players must be registered with MSI with the following exceptions:
- Guest players are allowed, up to a maximum of half your roster size.
- These guest players must be able to show proof of registration with an MSYSA or US Youth Soccer-affiliated club.
- Tryout players are allowed and do not need to carded players (since they are only at the tryout stage).
There will be no recording of scores or presentation of standings, reflecting the emphasis on a pre-season, friendly festival for development and fun!
