Join our Referee Recruitment Program
Join our referee team! We are pleased to announce that MSI will be hosting in-person courses at the Robertson Youth Center and Robertson Turf Field in Gaithersburg. These courses are scheduled for August 12 and August 19, 2023.
As part of our commitment to supporting our MSI club members, we will be reimbursing any members who sign up and successfully pass the class.
Why become a referee?

How do I become a referee?
- You can find the basic information to become a referee here.
- Then, register for the online Maryland Grassroots Referee course – Click New Member Registration.
- Once you become certified, check out our new referee starting guide to set yourself up for success. Referee assignors will then assign you to games that you are comfortable working.
