About MSI’s Classic League

The MSI Classic League is a unique program that bridges the gap between playing for the love of the game at the recreation level and the elite competition and commitment of a travel program. Our Classic league is a competitive environment all played on fields within Montgomery County. Each Classic team is autonomous and manages their own player selection and team budget, so player costs to participate and time commitment levels will vary depending on whether the team is led by a paid coach or is volunteer-led.

Current Scores and Standings

Click here to see schedules and scores for all Classic divisions for Spring 2023. Please note standings are not reported for the U10 divisions, though scores are recorded to facilitate division placement for the following season.

Fall 2023 Team Tryout Notices

Click here to see a list of teams at each age group that are looking for players. These will be continuously updated as registered teams seek new players. August 1, 2023 is the deadline for any players already registered in the Rec Program to transfer to a Classic team. After this date, anyone registered in the Rec Program will not be allowed to play on a Classic team for the fall season.

Player Assessments

All potential U9 and U10 players are required to attend a MSI Player Assessment session to determine the best level of play for all players. Player assessments are also open to older players, especially potential new teams to determine if the Classic League is the right level for you.
