MSI Travel Soccer Tryouts

Boys and Girls, 2026-27 Season
We are so excited to welcome you to MSI Travel tryouts for the Fall 2026–Spring 2027 soccer year. Travel tryouts will take place from April 26th through May 9th. Players can sign up for a maximum of 2 tryout sessions. Travel is the highest level of competition offered by MSI and is intended for our most skilled and dedicated players. Interested in Attending a Tryout Earlier?
If you would like to tryout for an MSI travel team prior to the scheduled tryout period or cannot attend the scheduled tryout for your age group, please contact our travel director, Erica Klein, to organize attending a MSI travel team practice session as a tryout.
What Happens at the Tryouts
Players will check in with an MSI staff member or coach at the MSI tent. Players must wear all black (navy or dark blue is okay), bring a ball (size 4 for U8-U12; size 5 for U13+), shin guards, and a water bottle. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. While on-field registration will be available, prior registration is highly recommended to ensure you receive communication about the tryout. After checking in and being assigned a tryout number, the players will complete a short warm-up with the coaches, then participate in small-sided games and other activities for evaluation.
Note: Coaches will be using their devices to record players' evaluations.
What Happens After Tryouts?
After the tryouts have been completed,
you will receive an invitation to join the team or an appropriate level of play recommendation no later than May 23rd.
When receiving an invitation to join the team, you will have up to 48 to 72 hours to accept. Upon accepting and registering for the 2026-2027 travel season, an initial non-refundable deposit of $400 will be due to secure your spot on the team.
