US Soccer Courses at MSI

If you are new to the US Soccer Coaching Education pathway, start here by creating an account and taking the free intro course: US Soccer Learning Center – Grassroots Intro Course.

Once you have completed the intro course, coaches need to complete two “in-person” courses and one online module to be fully Grassroots certified. An “in-person” course consists of a two-hour Zoom class and a two-hour field session. To complete an online module, click here and click “Online Courses” in the menu on the left under “Grassroots Courses.” MSI reimburses coaches at the Recreational, Classic, and Travel levels for completing their Grassroots coaching courses! Keep your payment receipt (upon registration) and license certificate (upon completion) and submit to Marc Burkom for reimbursement.

CPR and First Aid Courses

MSI/Red Cross Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED teaches participants how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies. Successful students will receive an Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate valid for two years. Stay tuned for future course offerings!
